A light buffet will be served at 5:30pm; please arrive early to grab a bite to eat prior to the start of the program.
Program Outline
This lecture will cover almost all there is to know about gum grafts, including: the indications and limitations of grafting, different types of techniques, comparison of materials available to the clinician, and complications. Clinical examples will be used to support each topic.
Bio
Dr. Dimitrios Karastathis earned his dental degree from the University of Toronto. This was followed by a 1 year general practice residency at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, and a 3 year master's program in Periodontology from the University of British Columbia. After working as a full time Periodontist is Vancouver for about 10 years, Dimitrios and his family packed their bags and moved to Victoria, where he now works alongside Dr. Tanya Tuckey, providing a full range…
