Surgical Pathology, Orofacial Lesions, and Cancer

Oral cancers and potentially malignant disorders are common entities detected on routine examination.

This presentation will focus on:

  1. Clinical assessment and screening
  2. An approach to the workup and diagnosis of lesions
  3. Proper biopsy procedures and surgical management
  4. Interpretation of pathology reports
  5. Selecting the appropriate treatment and follow-up

These objectives will be framed as case-based scenarios, all of which have occurred in the last year.
